Hunting...

Kevin has an archery elk tag and Tanner has an archery elk and deer tag, so Saturday we went hunting. We saw some deer (but all does) so the the hunt continues. We has a fun day and enjoyed the cool weather and the beautiful scenery.

Courtney and I got a little bored while the boys were looking for deer and took a few crazy pictures.

Back to school

Tanner and Courtney started school yesterday. They reluctantly let me take a picture of them before they left. Court even showed off her Spiderman backpack. I really started to miss them when 3:00 rolled around and still nobody home. Courtney has volleyball practice right after school and doesn't get done until 5:30 and Tanner started his new job and doesn't get home until 7:00. So, needless to say, I need to find some hobbies, take some classes or get a part-time job.

Tanner got a job and Courtney made the volleyball team!

Wow! Tanner found out yesterday that he got a job at the High School. He has been trying to find a job for a year now and this is the job he really wanted. He will be cleaning the school after the school day so he will be working 4 hours a day M-F which is wonderful because he will have his weekends free to spend time with family and friends and he works only on days that school is in session. The school is only about a mile or so away which is great because Tanner drives an 85 Chevy truck that only gets about 8 miles to the gallon. That is one reason why this job is soo ideal! We are so happy for him.
Courtney wil be a freshman this year and she made the Westlake High volleyball team. We are soo excited to watch her play. She had 2 a day tryouts all week last week and now she has early morning practice until school starts. She is doing a serve a thon tomorrow for a fundraiser so she has been collecting pledges and donations for that.
Kevin and Tanner have an archery deer and elk hunt that starts on Sat. so they are getting excited and been getting their bows ready. So it looks like Courtney and I will have a girls weekend. I will send a camera with the boys and I promise I will be better at taking pictures myself. You never know ....Maybe my next post will include pictures!

Thanks Chelsea!

My oldest daughter, Chelsea is so creative and created this blog for me. She has been telling me for months that I needed to blog. She keeps her blog so up to date and I really appreciate that because I feel like I don't miss out too much on little Preston's life. I am always checking her blog for new pictures and the latest adventures of that cute little grandson of mine. I promised her that I will keep up with this blog and let her know what is going on here in Utah with Kevin and I and Tanner and Courtney. I am excited to get started!
